Having grown up in old houses that were brimming with paranormal activity, I have always been drawn to buildings that have a permanent resident or two - or in the case of Shakers, far more than that.
I love learning the history of buildings and diving into the depths of stories over one hundred years old, that the foundations and walls have experienced that we can only imagine as patrons. There is something so interesting about how much life a building can hold onto, whether it's something that you can see in the wear and tear of the floorboards, or if it's simply a feeling of the past creeping up on you.
I have a deep passion for not only telling the stories of the past, but also experiencing the footprint of the past and interacting with those long gone who have decided that they are not yet ready to leave.
I have a bachelor's of theatre arts from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and am currently living in Milwaukee to pursue a career in acting and stage management. I would someday like to become an old lady who knows strange remedies for things because of my knowledge of plants and herbology.
