About Kirsten

The wicked, mysterious, and unexplainable has always intrigued me, and until my first tour in October of 2021, I had remained ignorant to the spiritual elements that make Shakers a one-of-a-kind taste of something extraordinary.

I had been drawn to this building for years due to the vibrant and historic personality it upholds, but I knew I wanted to be a part of the experience when I first learned of the many resident spirits and their stories. I had been very excited to work as a tour guide in early 2022 so I could maintain reverence for said timeless stories.

Since I began, I have had endless tales that I will happily share with our guests that may spook or intrigue the most superstitious. As a current Sociology major- learning about different ways to connect with those energies via diving rods, tarot, pendulums, connecting with ancestors, paganism, Santeria and various protections excites me to no end!

In my free time, I rock climb, hike and write poetry to maintain the "carpe diem" mindset. I give the classic and 2.0 ghost tours as well as our cream city cannibal walking tours- no matter what it may be, there is a myriad of enjoyable aspects about each tour, as well as our overall atmosphere. If you see me around, please feel free to tell me your own tales and spooks.
